    The table is lavishly set, the champagne cold, the caviar ordered. Silvery shimmering chandeliers are where the Stern couple sit and wait for the guests. The musicians have arrived, the delicacies pile up on the meter-long table. Only: the guests do not appear. So the starting situation in the piece "Spook in the Villa Stern" by David Gieselmann after the eponymous cabaret revue by Friedrich Hollaender, which was premiered on the main stage of the Basel Theater .
