    Quite Much Luck

Actress Dagmar Manzel with a wonderful Frederick Hollander evening at the Frankfurt opera

The last song evening of the season in the Frankfurt Opera House. With the eternally sung themes between love, myth, nature and death. This time, however, it was not held in the familiar tone of the sublime art song: "Ein paar Illusionen gefällig? / Leicht gebraucht, fast neu, /...schöne Illusionen, / Aber sie wollten einfach nicht wahr werden."

A mocking, cool, sentimental, and touching tone sounded of one that was designed for the mood of the revue, the cinema and the cabaret of the 1930s: Friedrich Hollaender. To whom the famous actress Dagmar Manzel dedicated her Frankfurt evening.
