    Friedrich Hollaender Square in Berlin!

The new date for the FRIEDRICH HOLLANDER PLATZ dedication is June 18th at 11am.

Germany, and the city of Berlin bestow a great honor on it's late, world famous son. The "Rankeplatz", gateway of Berlin's city west, will be renamed "Friedrich-Hollaender-Platz," after the composer Friedrich Hollaender (1896-1976). The small square will be completely renovated into a park with additional trees, flowering shrubs, park benches, and a fountain. The renaming ceremony was scheduled to take place on the 19th of April 2012 but was postponed by the city of Berlin for logistical reasons and will be rescheduled for June 2012. Please check back soon to get the new date of the ceremony.
